Essential before moving

These are the aspects of your move to Denmark and Odense that are crucial to have in place before anything else. Residence and work permits should be applied for and filled out while you're still in your home country. The tax registration is important as you will be taxed at the maximum level if your tax card has not been activated before your first salary. A contract for a minimum of three months' accommodation and an address is required for you to receive a CPR number.

On first arrival

When you have your residence and work permits in order, and your accommodation contract has been signed, it's then time to book your appointment for registration in Odense. Here, you'll receive your CPR number which gives you access to everything from library cards and banking to language classes and health insurance.
