Accompanying partners actively seeking a job can join our monthly Job Search Events, where they can meet and share experiences with other job seekers as well as get more information on job search related topics. Sign up for our Open Job Search Events and receive guidance on:

• how to tailor your CV and cover letter to fit Danish standards 
• volunteering possibilities

Community Cafés

Our Community Cafés is an initiative for accompanying partners and others to meet, network, and share experiences of living in Odense in an informal environment. Keep an eye on our events page for our monthly Community Cafés.

Company Visits

The purpose of our Company Visits is to give an introduction to different types Danish workplaces where you will learn about workplace culture, the hiring processes, and careers in general. We visit the companies to network and as such, the Company Visits are not job match-making events. You'll find our upcoming Company Visits on our events page.

Job Search Guide

International Community Odense has created a Job Search Guide for internationals in which you will find tips and information on where and how to look for jobs, how to write a good CV and cover letter, and much more. You can find the Job Search Guide here.

Danish language courses  

An important step in landing a job and thriving in Odense is to learn Danish. Though not a requirement in all jobs, it is a skill that you are expected to master in most jobs in Denmark, and learning Danish will also help you engage with your community on a deeper level and give you a great sense of accomplishment and independence.

Spouse Service

An extended service is offered to accompanying partners of skilled or highly skilled employees who will be living or working in Odense. Starting a new job takes a lot of effort, and your focus needs to be on this new chapter in your life. With Spouse Service, we offer to help to the accompanying partner of the new employee, and you can read more about this service in our section 'For Companies.'
