10th grade and beyond in the City of Odense
10th grade is a school year designed with the student at the center — your education plan, your goals, and everything you need to help you choose the youth education program that’s right for you. It takes place in a dedicated youth environment, UngOdense, where you have the chance to grow based on your own strengths, challenges, and ambitions for the future – academically, personally, and socially.
Throughout the year, the main goal is to help you gain clarity and confidence about which youth education pathway is the best match for you. We call this targeted academic development in 10th grade. UngOdense offers several different 10th grade programs, each with its own profile.
Choosing a path
In the City of Odense, Den Kommunale Ungeindsats (DA: The Municipal Youth Service), KUI, guides youths between the ages of 15 and 25 in choosing their education path. Sometimes the path is not so straightforward and some fresh perspectives can make a real difference. All youths have access to a guidance counsellor who can help the young students navigate the landscape of the education system and open their eyes to possibilities they may not have considered on their own.
