Caravans and trailers
You may park trailers, detached trailers and semi-trailers, as well as caravans, for up to 12 hours. On marked parking spaces it is not permitted to park detached caravans.
Heavy vehicles
As a general rule, vehicles with a permitted total weight exceeding 3,500 kg and trailers exceeding 750 kg are not allowed to park between 19:00 and 7:00. However, there are selected road sections where heavy vehicle parking is permitted during this period unless otherwise stated by signage.
Overnight accommodation or advertising
You may not park vehicles that are designed for overnight accommodation or advertising purposes unless you have obtained special permission from Odense Municipality.
Where do the rules apply?
The rules for stopping and parking apply on all municipal roads and private roads open to public traffic within urban areas in Odense.
Paid parking
If you hold a valid parking permit for persons with disabilities, you are exempted from paying parking fees. The permit must be clearly visible in the windscreen, with the front side facing outwards for inspection. Motorcycles may park free of charge in designated motorcycle parking spaces.
